Rebecca (Jyoti) Yacobi

Certified Svaroopa® Vidya Meditation Teacher, Meditation Group Leader

Certified Svaroopa® Yoga Therapist, Certified Svaroopa® Yoga Teacher (700 hours), Certified Svaroopa® Vichara Therapist

Rebecca (Jyoti) brings many years of experience as a clinician and teacher in the dental-medical field, with a B.Sc. in Life Sciences, M.Sc. in Pharmacology and Dentistry—all from the University of Toronto. Raised in several countries before settling in Canada, she brings a rich tapestry of cultural insight, curiosity and multifaceted experiences to her work.

Her extensive scientific background laid the foundation for a deep exploration of alternative healing modalities, including Yoga Therapy, Therapeutic Touch and  Hands-On Healing. Rebecca is grateful to her many teachers, notably Anandashakti (Xenia) Splawinski and Gurudevi Nirmalananda Saraswati. Today, Rebecca shares and teaches Svaroopa® Yoga and Meditation.

Her classes are layered experiences that ease physical pain, calm the mind, revealing the stillness and depth within. Yoga and meditation enable us to access our own innate potential for healing, transformation and deep insight.
